Maybe if you're expecting it to be their official full-length...or if you're listening to it in mp3 format instead of the audio CD (which ALWAYS makes a bigger difference in ANY genre of metal imo.) I thought the sound overall was fucking killer, albeit viewing their new release in the 'demo-release' sense instead of the 'full-length' sense. I don't expect self-prduced demos to have a crushing production. And due to the nature of their material, I don't know if I would want a refined production on it...stuff like this is meant to be somewhat raw. It's somewhat unrealistic to expect a self-produced blackened/death metal demo to be of the Studio Fredman level (**although I know that's what Mito's really going for (lol) oh admit it guys, Revenuerunner is going to suck you guys up like fucking Budweiser, I can see it already (lol)** Seriously though, all jokes aside, their CD's fucking crushing (Especially "Pestilent Rebirth!")
