| VICTORIA BC SKA SOCIETY User Info... |  I remember speaking with Mikey just before he went into the room to jam. After much conversation I remember telling him, "You should really jam with these guys cause they're tight." And he replied, "just wait... they just need a little different idea (meaning sound). It's all in the instructions... And I remember not knowing what he meant - that's until I heard and saw the sounds being created by him and all of the musicians in the room. Mikey stayed after the jam and chilled out with everyone at the house. The whole jam reminded me of when The Aggrolites, Chris Murray, The Operators, the Kiltlifters and other bands played at the Vantreight house a long time ago during Victoria's 4th Annual Ska Festival.... Ska/reggae jams are where it's at and I hope more of them can happen in more cities throughout Canada in the future. Remember to check out One Night Band & The Expos on Friday, September 29th @ Lucky Bar.
