| Dr.DoomXXX User Info... | Fucking wicked show! Skinless kicked as much ass as when I saw them last year in Van. The Cryptopsy guitarist on the left (not Alex Auburn) had a weird habbit of making chimpanze faces. (I think he was on drugs or just plane crazy) But it was impressive to see him pull off the solo from "We Bleed" (my favourite solo). | ML7Mike User Info... | That bathroom attendant is creepy.. they had two of them at Celtic Frost I think. If there was anything that would KEEP me from washing my hands after I piss, well thats it.. oh and the stench in there makes me run out asap too. Bands were great, awesome night, Skinless worked the crowd like Ive seen no other band in Sugar do, they got the mosh to climb over the barrier ( house soundguy looked like he was gonna blow his brain cell! ) And then they incited a Wall Of Death.. In Sugar.. and it worked! It was crazy to watch. Cryptopsy were at their best in years, their new 2nd guitarist was insane, and Lord Worm had his full vocal capability. No drum solo though :( Definately digging some of their new songs.. but.. mellow Cryptopsy? weird! haha. I dont think I ever heard Lord DanWorm sing clean but he did it well even if it was only about one verse long. Props to Horde Of Anachron, they sounded really tight and they had a good pit going for most of their set and finished their set off with some old school Priest.. Berg you are a fuckin cyborg dude! | Tim-Bitchfork User Info... | man that was a sweet show, my hearing has only cleared up fully last night. Yea, that new guitarist was making some wierd faces but he played the shit so no knocking him, but the guy in the bathroom? Everytime I went in there he was in some sort of coughing fit , wierd ass. HOA is amazing, they sounded awesome and their style I really like. Skinless sounded like a lot of bands I've seen but they were good, I think they could use some more dynamic in their songwriting but what a great live band. Crytopsy was incredible, Lord Worm sounds so cool when he talks and he stepped on my right heel really hard when HOA was playing, he didn't notice but i hurt like a bitch. - Fri, 20 Oct 2006 9:38am | ||

| LivevicScott User Info... | The show didn't even half sell out sugar, we don't really need a venue bigger then sugar, unless its something that can do All Ages and bar w/ ID. | ENIGMATICA ENTERTAINMENT User Info... |  I remember there was a rant in the TC that the Save on Food Centre wasn't getting enough shows. | LivevicScott User Info... | This is starting to sound like it should be a different thread, BUT ... yeah your still talking about an all ages venue, I think if its gonna be bigger then sugar/legends it needs to be bascily an all ages venue. However I think for it to be successfull you need to be able to get drinks.
