| ScumFuckBondage User Info... | When I first got to the place I was hoping to see a good show (seeing as i spent a day jsut getting up to naniamo). And I wasn't let down. First up was Blood Nasty, I've seen them before and they did a great job once again. Good work lads. Then the infamous Hoosegow, a fuckin' wicked job, loved every second of it! On top of that they were selling skate decks which mad ethme even cooler. Then comes The Rebel Spell. What can I say? Its the Rebel Spell, didn't let me down, a great fucin' band. Legends, The Ripcordz played next. The only of all the bands I hadn't seen. And holy shit. I was fucin' blown away by these guy. amazing job! Thanks paul for writing fuck you all over my jacket b ythe way. After I cleaned all the shit out of my pants after seeing the amazing Ripcordz comes A.W.T. Alcoholic White Trash has to be one of the best bands in music today. Roy had a broken leg and was still screaming his fucin' face off. I was especially impressed whne they played a GG Allin cover (Bite It You Scum)! Fucin' wicked job to the bands, thanks to the guys who let me crash o nthier floor, thanks myka for setting it up and thanks to all the kids in the a and w who left a whole bunch of fries for me! cheers-Scumfucbondage - Tue, 15 Aug 2006 4:32pm | ||

| jay brown User Info... | Without a doubt the four shows we played with the Ripcordz this year were some of the funnest shows I have ever played. All in all they just rocked, the bands all played great, the crowds all had a blast, and the bands all had a great time as usual. As usual it was my girlfriends birthday weekend as well which makes it extra special fun. I gotta say though, the Nanaimo show was something special. Everyone just went off, we got to headline the show, and the crowd went crazy. I thought it was one of the better sets we have probably ever played as a band, and I couldnt of had a better time doing it. On top of all of it, my daughter came to the last two shows and finally got to see her old man playing his drums. Needless to say I was fucking stoked all around. Anyways, thanks to everyone that made that weekend happen, John and the staff at Logans, Wendy and the staff at the Cobalt, Gillian and everyone up in the comox valley, and of course Myka and the crew in Nanaimo.
