| Mat User Info... |  We aren't looking for any spacific vocal style. I mean the music, pretty much, is going to be defined by the style of vocals that are brought to the table. It's pretty diverse music if I do say so myself. The questions we are asking are: Do you have anything that we could listen to? What kind of bands have you played with in the past? Do you have recording/live performance experience? Would you be able to jam 3 times a week and later in the evening? We tend to have practise on Thurs & Fri at around 10:00 - 12:00ish and Sundays at around 6:00ish. Oh yeah, how old are you? Not that it matters too much. We've had a couple of screamo people come out, a couple of rockers and a hardcore punk dude as well. They all sounded good and seemed to fit the music. It just wasn't what they were looking for or it was bad timing... blah blah. You know the music scene. We do have a P.A. set up at the jam spot. It's not the best P.A. or the nicest to look at, but it works. I think it's from the 1970's and it really looks it's age. :o) But it's served me well over the years so... Yeah, we have one. I've been singing for 14 years and am influenced by David Draiman, David Usher, Corey Taylor (Stone Sour more than Slipknot), Tom Waits and various classical singers.
