I saw them twice years back at Harpos and once in Vancouver at the town pump. my favorite new wave band ever if not the best! Theyhave so many good songs..... ahhh, you never hear being played on the radio, except for maybe your show Frazer Johnson. I can't wait. how many more sleeps? | Ty Stranglehold User Info... | Funny story: One of the times they came to Harpo's in the early 90's, The Vandals were tour support for them. Before they left the US to come up, the Buzzcocks told the Vandals that they had to sneak all of the Buzzcocks' merch across the border in their van. Vandals, of course, told them to fuck off and when they arrived in Vic, they were told that the Buzzcocks had booted them off the tour and they were not to play the gig. They sat out on the stairs at Harpo's since there was no way to get off the Island at that point. You can see the Vandals in Seattle on their "Sweatin' To The Oldies" vid climbing up a letter sign at a venue advertising the Buzzcocks. We're now being contacted by Vancouver residents who didn't get tickets in time and want to travel to Victoria to see the band. This show will sell out.
