Don't like the sound? Don't buy one.
I am hoping for some Mesa bass gear to come in. Sure would be nice to try it out before I sell my soul to Ray for a year.
Like maybe a Basis M-2000 and a Powerhouse 1000.
All we need now is an ESP dealer. - Tue, 4 Feb 2003 8:59pm

decent your all stuck up glamour bitches that would by an amp based on looks and popularity rather than tone and durability. Boogies are good amps, but there are a lot of really great amps. Quit wasting time bitching and do something with your lives. - Wed, 19 Feb 2003 9:47pm

I have a 5150 and it sounds darn good, the clean channel is cool because you can ride the gain and put it into clipping at low levels, and the drive channel is wack ! - Mon, 24 Feb 2003 2:44pm

Does certain hardware make the difference in a musicians sound, or is it the person playing that makes the difference? I'm only running a Yamaha Pacifica electric, but I'm sure i could play just as well buying a few f/x pedals, regardless of what amp I'm running. Peace... - Tue, 25 Feb 2003 6:37pm

with most good players it doesnt matter what you play through, as long as it inspires. If it inspires you to play through an ac30, then play through an ac30, if marshall is your bag then use marshall. Just remeber that most people wont notice or give a damn - Tue, 25 Feb 2003 7:31pm

Actually, L&M Employee is kinda right about the Klanner manager thingy..... My rental agreement with them has a mysterious "WH" written next to the name of my friend that I brought with me and put down as a reference... It stands for "way hetero".... Or does it? - Thu, 27 Feb 2003 8:37pm
