Hey everyone. Me again. And yes, unfortunately i did kill a bird with this TV. Duck Hunt is a Wikkid game.

So yeah, I am selling/trading my MINT (bought in June 04, didnt use till jan 05). It has 3 years warranty left.

Retailed in June 04 for 4500$. Technology NOSEDIVES, so i know it is worth NO where near that price.

So, i am willing to trade for a SMOKIN musical deal or cash, or maybe a Wikkid BMX, Urban assault bike.

Giv ER! I have NO stairs, its on wheels, has built in 2 12 inch speaker system. Auto focus, so you wont need a tech once moved. Hitachi is best name on market. This TV has more warranty available than what you would get if you bought new, cause i fell for that "Product Service Plan"

in case you are not aware, doing that is very much illegal.

Also, I'm fairly certain that L&M employees frequent this board.

I'd advise using a more legitimate means to buy this perosn's TV. - Thu, 27 Apr 2006 11:06am Edited: Thu, 27 Apr 2006 11:08am

What are you talking about MacTac? Your contract is that you will pay L&M what you owe them. It's your guitar, you can do what you want with it (sell it, destroy it, rent it out, use it). If this was not the case, parents couldn't finance guitars for their kids.

On topice though, what specific model of Hitachi is this? How much bulb life does it get and how much is left currently? DLPs have pretty crappy bulb life which is likely partially why their pricess are dropping compared to Plasma and LCD TVs.

The Hitachi ones are good for 3 years easy. I've had my Hitachi 46" projection for almost 3 years, it's on lots for the kids and I love it. Great picture, fairly good sound, no problems at all. Just my two cents. - Thu, 27 Apr 2006 2:30pm

you are absolutely wrong. They are giving you a loan for the total amount & the guitar (or whetever it is) is collateral for the loan. THis makes it *theirs* until it's paid off.

the reason it is like this is so that if you decide you can't afford it, they can always reposses it. if you give it to someone else, they are left without a secured item for their loan.

long & mcquade (or anyone else for that matter) would never give you an unsecured loan for $1200 without any collateral or investigation into your credit history, etc. if you dispose of (or give away or sell, etc) the serucred item, you are violating the security agreement with L&M.

it makes sense that it's this way, and it's to protect the people who are letting you walk away with their merchandise without paying for it.

it's against the law, pure & simple. If you don't beleive me, go ahead & ask a laywer.... or better yet call l&M & ask them yourself. - Thu, 27 Apr 2006 3:34pm

Yes he is wrong. You are not allowed to finance gear at LandM and then sell/trade it without it being paid off. For those of you who are financially unfortunate, a guitar finance is the exact same as a home. Your finance company has a "lien" on something, LandM places a "lien" on all its financed gear.

But all of you would have got that by reading the "Go to LandM, finance a sweet jackson, or an ESP, neck thru. Then give it to me, they will never know. NEVER"

The......"LandM employees frequent this board" thing is even funnier! Colin and Ron will hunt me down and take my guitars away!

"On topice though, what specific model of Hitachi is this? How much bulb life does it get and how much is left currently? DLPs have pretty crappy bulb life which is likely partially why their pricess are dropping compared to Plasma and LCD TVs."

This model is 51F500A (all zero's). Technology always drops in price fool.

But still buy my TV!@ - Thu, 27 Apr 2006 4:24pm Edited: Thu, 27 Apr 2006 4:24pm
