rickylong User Info... | Another show that confirms there is some amazing local acts!! and the spitfires totally rocked the joint. First off i wanna say The Mags where the surprise for the night! Holy shit Rock and Roll. In a sea of blasting punk/metal thats availiable for us to see it's refreshing to see some straight forward blasting rock... The Mags should not be missed! If there is ever a bill with the Valentines, the Haulers .... you gotta now include the MAGS! see em! Thw Murders again pelted thier audience with their in your face metal core that is at time scary. I was a little dissapointed with the sound of the FNM in the lucky bar... the volume and bass seemed to drown out thier powerfull guitar riffs... but hey only a few weeks untill we can own thier DEMO!!! The Spitefires where fun and yes..... more fun Holy Shit Rock and Roll! Kinda like the New Bomb Turks with a little yeah yeah added. Rock I was thinking about all the mainstream rock fans who might not get exposed to these great live shows. Was this show advertised on the Zone or the Q or the Jack? No and it's too bad because there's some good and fun live rock thats beeing missed by the mainstream..... sometimes you gotta look under the ground for the best music! or maybe we should keep it that way? --- -ricky jak - Sun, 23 Oct 2005 3:49pm | ||
