My new film The Dead Inside is making its hometown debut this coming Friday October 21st at the Roxy theatre at 11:30PM. The world premiere was last weekend at the HP Lovecraft Film Festival in Portland OR and the South American premiere will be at the end of the month at the Buenos Aires Rojo Sangre Festival in Argentina.
Unlike previous efforts such as Meat Market 2 or Exhumed this is not a wacky zombie gorefest. It's a slow-moving, creepy, atmospheric haunted house movie inspired in part by the writing of HP Lovecraft, so don't come expecting crazy action and grue flying everywhere. (There's some, just not a lot.)
Admission will be $5. More info, trailers, still shots, synopsis and cast list can be found at the official website, http://www.frontlinefilms.net/deadinside.html and the myspace page, http://www.myspace.com/thedeadinside - Sun, 16 Oct 2005 3:57pm

It was amazing... I loved that review.
"During the final battle sequence soldiers are shredded by mortars and gunfire with eerily realistic results."
Does this mean that I get acting jobs now, or what? - Sat, 22 Oct 2005 8:23pm

this movie was the best scary movie i've seen in years. it wasn't as gory as it was genuinely unsettling. i couldn't even believe how awesome the effects were ( especially the lightning killing the ghouls which felt very army of darkness -esque) and how accurately he made it seem like the 1950's. the war scenes were awesome,(i couldn't believe that was my backyard, it TOTALLY looked like europe) they were so realistic, but i mean the whole movie was. the elements of multiple realities and negative energy fields were just so convincing, the movie never got over-the-top unless it was necessary as an anti-climatic tool. i honestly felt that brian took the concept of horror to a level that is not usually gone too; not just of aesthetics and gore but too concepts of suffering, dread, fatigue, and genuine fear and paranoia tied to metaphysics and the supernatural almost transcended to a personal level. my eyes were glued to the screen the whole time, except for popcorn and when xdanx kept pretending to be stretching and putting his arm around me. how Brian managed to pull off making such an astounding film with almost no free time and a budget consisting of two dollars and fifty-cents,lint, paperclips, and assorted peices of string is totally beyond me. most excellent work my friend. - Sun, 23 Oct 2005 6:30pm
