four words... best victoria show ever.. this show was the highlight of my life.

HRP: very talented, not a style of music i'm into, but i still really enjoyed a few songs
Morning Call: incredible, very good band, incredible songs
In Media Res: in(fucking)credible, these guys were amazing, never in my life have i had such a good vibe off a band, i will definitley see this band again.
THESET: jesus christ, words cant describe how incredible these guys were, awesome stage presence, incredible songs, hands down the best band in victoria. a bit dangerous too, i split my eye open on martins effects stand.. but it was worth it.. i cant wait to hear these bands again.. - Fri, 30 Sep 2005 11:48pm

Ok, arrived just after HRP, boo. TO be honest, I thought morning call blew, it's just another crappy band appealing to 13 year old girls. Maybe if I was listening to their cd or something, but still I had to get outa there during their set (harsh I know, but honest). In Media Res, wow, you guys are fuckin killer, great energy, great show, my first time hearing/seeing you guys, and my expectations was greatly lived up to and MORE from what everyone was telling me about you. Theset, they gave me aids. fuckers. haha, good of course :P

I got some RAD pics frmo this show of in media/theset, I'll get them up sometime tomarrow hopefully, can add me to msn anyone who wants to see some early/better res. [email protected]

Ok, after the show walking home with the gf I was told that during thesets... set. that some drunk thugs to like bash their way through the doors and the fuckin cops were called and shit? (i was at the front having my shines bruised/thrown onto the stage), yeah, she said she was locked out for like 20mins or something, fuckin crazy. Woulda loved to get some shots of that shit :D:D (we saw them all lurking at vichigh after so we decided to NOT cut across the highschool, haha) - Sat, 1 Oct 2005 5:11am

Fuck i bet its the same bunch of whinin bitches that tried to cause grief at the show with OneShotLeft, the failure, bogtart and the vendors. There must have been 25-30 of em that time, I got em away from the doors and on to the grass, then the cops got em hahahhhaha. Isnt there supposed to be "security" at all ages shows? - Sat, 1 Oct 2005 10:27am

great Pic! In Medias Res changed my life (again).

The guitar player is the ultimate thrash animal. The fucking teeny-alt-boppers trying to mosh and fight all drunk during In Medias Res pissed me off...

theset get better each show I see and there were so many people there... they really thrive in front of a big passionate crowd. Goodtimes.

Missed Morning Call and the opener. Morning Call had nice t-shirts at the merch booth. - Sat, 1 Oct 2005 1:22pm

amazing show!

I like HRP a lot. I will see them every time they play a show here, and I want to see how far they can take their stuff. So good, I love the vocals and song style.

Morning Call were not music I like. It was tightly practiced and stuff. Just sounded like Simple Plan. not my thing.

IN MEDIAS RES! soooo good. I was so glad to have these guys in for a radio interview at cfuv earlier in the day, I will be putting the hour-long mp3 or ogg file on my site if anyone wants to listen. It was a fun time. and then the show!!! sooo good. words cannot describe it. 40 minutes of complete glee where I forgot any shit going on in my life and just experienced in medias res. I hope they come back (apparently maybe mid november!), and if/when they do then maybe I can get them in for another radio interview. Such awesome guys too.

theset played up to people's expectations. where did all those fans come from? haha. yay internet hype. seriously though they are a very tight band doing what they want to do really well. - Sat, 1 Oct 2005 2:34pm

well.. i missed the first band( everyone seems to say that) but had to work a bit later then i wanted.. but got there for Morning Call... been waiting to see these guys for awhile love A/b2 the clap part gets me everytime. anyways the rest of there songs were alright nothing new to me but still a tight band..

In Media Res- i walk in from outside and see tv's on the stage? one of the coolest stage setups ive seen. first song was soo good and the rest of there set was awsome i was really feeling there music. bought the cd. but much rather see them live

TheSet- didnt disapoint me at all. mostly beacsue ive had the album way before it came out ( sorry dean proabaly never gunna pay my 8 bucks!!hah)i didn`t realize till this morning that they never even played In Loving Memory but thats fine my least favorutie song.. but ended the night happy with the encore of Halifax favourite song by them which im told they hate to play it. all in all good show guys
