Here are some pics as promised (I just threw them all up, some good some bad) forgot to recharge the battery so I held off a bit. How'd you guys like this show? I only really liked that second band mainly. (only cuaght about 5 seconds of that ska/jazz type of band, but they sounded pretty good).

I thought it was pretty lame.

What I saw of the vendors was sloppy, but kyle is hot and stuff.

I took a couple pictures.

I saw you by the way. - Sat, 13 Aug 2005 9:34pm

sorry for the stupid ass webshots thing, i still havn't found someone to sitdown with me for a couple hours and revamp my site so I can easily make/host gallerys and crap (there was one person, but that fell through. i've got a domain name/lots of hosting for it, just horrible with websites/can't edit my template since it's in flash) - Sat, 13 Aug 2005 11:44pm

Hey Andrew,

Those photos are really great. You do great work, man. Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoyed what you saw! Haveagoodoneman.

To the other bands, you guys played really well up on the big stage and commanded the audience. Nice stuff.

Take care guys,

It was a great afternoon for some free entertainment downtown.
The talent show was ify at best. The people with intsruments were very good, but the people without, I felt, weren't very good at their respected art. I do question what was involved in finding said talent, but still, I didn't see any city postings or anything so I assume the organizers went with people they knew.

Bands: The first band, DNA, I can't say I liked. they were just, bland. Seemed like a typical high-school rocknroll cover band to me.
Sol (Is that how it is spelt?) was pretty darn cool. Not my favourite choice in terms of MY musical taste, but no reason why I couldn't enjoy them. Very good guitar work and drum skills from Chris. They reminded me a little bit of Dream Theater without the solos every 8 seconds, and overly long songs.
The Vendors are pretty rad. They're definatly very catchy and I do see them going very far in their musical careers in the future.
One Drop were the reason I went, and they did not dissapoint. Played a lot of newish stuff that I haven't heard before, which was all awesome. - Sun, 14 Aug 2005 12:40am

I caught the last fifteen or twenty minutes of One Drop's set; they were on top of their game and looked to be having a lot of fun. It had been way too long since I last saw these guys live... - Sun, 14 Aug 2005 11:39pm

I saw a couple from Saul including their "single" or something.

Sounded alright. Big riff rock sound. The band needs to work the stage a little better. Bass player guy looked stoned and mohawk guy was just not crazy enough. Big stage you got to use it. Alexisonfire worked it... learn from the pros.

The lead singer looked like a Moffat. - Mon, 15 Aug 2005 7:32pm
