| Justin User Info... | My name is Justin and I'm looking to start a new project. I play Guitar and I'm interetsed in starting some composition and serious performing with serious musicians. My thought was to form something like a 12 piece band. The sort of style I'm looking to play is in the veins of jazz, fusion, and Frank Zappa, those being the 3 main influences.I'm looking for people with really good chops and the abilities to improvise, and read (exceptions can be made for the reading). I'm 17 , and age isnt much of an issue to me, more important are your chops. This is the list of instruments I'm looking for, and roughly the musically stylistic training I think would be most appropriate: Drums: Jazz, Metal Bass: Jazz, Funk Keys (piano, organ, keyboard, whatever): Jazz, Rock Horns (trumpet, Saxes, Trombone): Jazz (reading) Guitar(two might not be a bad idea.I'll also be playing guitar): Jazz, Blues Everyone needs to be able to improvise. There is a good possibility that many people will have better chops than I do, so if that's an issue for you... well I guess it depends on how you feel about it. I also DON'T, DO NOT, have a jam space, so that is an issue. | Justin User Info... | Well I've gotten multiple offers for the same positions so I'll probably more or less audition those of you prying for the same place. But auditions are far in the future at the rate things are going at. I still need to fill most of the other positions, most importantly the rhythym section for auditions.
