I've listened to and played pretty much any genre of music around so it's not that I can't play it...I just speak from experience. | CurtisD User Info... | I don't think there's anything wrong with wanting organize a straight up classic/modern rock show. If you like death metal, screamo, etc and variety of those genres there is certainly a wide variety of talentful bands in Victoria to choose from. I think the scene does suffer from a lack of rock in the tradition of RHCP, Nirvana, Green Day, Oasis, U2, The Strokes, The Killers etc bands each with their own "rock" sound but also with an ear and songwriting touch for melodies.
