Get yourself an old beater, crash it a fews times, THEN if you still feel the need to ride around on two wheels, go get your class 6 license and find a motorcycle of no less than 400cc's or you're just choking on peoples exhaust. | Inhalien User Info... | I think scooters are fun and I'm looking for one too, eventually. I'm sure it's also fun to ride around on a Ninja 750. The 19 year old that died two weeks ago on day TWO on his MC learners license found out the hard way. | Gare User Info... | They are pretty cheap to buy new. Our car died so I've been riding my dad's for $20 gas a month if that. Only use it to and from work tho. Experience is something that can't be bought. Then start looking around for a pocketrocket. Inhalien, same point. The reason that kid died can be chalked up to lack of driving experience. | jay brown User Info... | actually most scooters will do well over fifty. The ones at the rental place arent very good examples as they are usually only 50cc's. They do that because anything 50 cc's or smaller you dont need a motorcycle license for just a regular license. As for that being expensive for used scooters, you might wanna look into prices a little more even used ones usually go for a couple grand. If its a vespa used ones can get up to 4 or 5 grand sometimes depending on the shape and model. - Thu, 24 Mar 2005 10:38pm | ||
