Ancient Technology $20. Final Offer. - Mon, 30 Dec 2002 11:59am
Ike Nah. I said within reason. That isn't within reason. - Mon, 30 Dec 2002 3:18pm
Tech Guy a brand new Audigy Value 5.1 is now $90 or if you know a wholesaler, about $75. The Audigy is much more powerful then the Live. 3 times as powerful I think.

Last week I picked up a not stolen SB Live Platinum Interface for $30. The guy woulda gave me card and interface for $50 but I opted to plug the SB Live interface into my Audigy card which worked just fine.

Id say a SB Live used is worth $30 tops. If it comes with the Platinum Interface then maybe $75-$100, seeing as how the Audigy Platinum 5.1 is about $250 now..

A brand new SB Live can be found in Vancouver at ATIC computers on Broadway for $50. See for yourself at Atic Computers - Mon, 30 Dec 2002 3:42pm

tech bitchslapper If it's worth $30 offer $30, cheapass. - Mon, 30 Dec 2002 5:02pm
Tech Guy Sorry, I wasnt offering anything slapper. Just info. Personally I use an Audigy 5.1 ( the new Live! basically ) It cost me $100 6 months ago. - Mon, 30 Dec 2002 5:07pm
Ancient Technology Tech Guy is right. The Live card at Atic is $54. Ill offer $25. Final Offer. - Mon, 30 Dec 2002 10:17pm
Ike Cool. Go buy one at Attic. I didn't realize it was worth so little and you'll probably be happier with a card that has a warranty and all that shit. I'll just give it to my little brother or a friend. - Tue, 31 Dec 2002 5:35pm
IKE By the way - That $54 quote is for a card that doesn't include a seperate card that has midi, spdif, and digital DIN ports...Totally different and less functional. The card I have was over $225 less that 2.5 years ago. I know computer equipment drops in value quickly, but it doesn't drop that much. - Tue, 31 Dec 2002 5:40pm
Tech Guy Well why didnt you say it was a Soundblaster Platinum? Thats different. I bought the interface last week from a Live Plat. for $30 and it plugged right into my Audigy.. nice! - Tue, 31 Dec 2002 8:32pm
Tech Guy BTW, the card alone is JUST as functional, but the faceplate gives you more ease of use. - Tue, 31 Dec 2002 8:33pm

ML7Mike Hey you schmucks. I am a computer tech. I order approx 2 computers per month from Atic, in fact just got one last week. Shipping charges including GST on a full tower and monitor are approximately $45. As for their charges, they fluctuate depending on who is shipping the product, and the price reflects the courier company used that day, not ATIC's decision.

On Monday I shipped an RMA hardrive back to Seagate in Ontario via Purolator and it cost $19 incl tax.

So the same hardrive ( heavier then a soundcard too ) shipped to Vancouver would be about $10. ATIC know this, and if you call them on it they usually will adhere to it.

Anyhow, who the fuck never goes to Vancouver? You can always just go to ATIC its right on Broadway. - Thu, 2 Jan 2003 1:38pm

Hey IKE i'll give u my 2 cents STFU. - Fri, 3 Jan 2003 8:32pm
Ike Hey Glen, you'd have to be blind or stupid not to realize that what you post is going to be up for scrutiny here. If you want to ask too much for something that's fine, but don't expect people who know better not to say anything. Good luck selling your slug though. - Fri, 3 Jan 2003 8:37pm
