Sticky Kola - Sun, 29 Dec 2002 5:24pm
Anonymous that was a fun fuckin night. complete with jack daniels and fist fights. Fat Line kicked some serious ass too, didn't get to hear much of Jell though. - Mon, 30 Dec 2002 12:39am
Jake I'm sorry but I thought that it was a really bad show. The songs are really bad and they try to hide their inability behind a massive marshall stack wall of sound. Boring. - Mon, 30 Dec 2002 1:57am
Anon386 I never saw the show but I am pretty sure BM isn't trying to hide anything. They are on stage... is that what you call hiding? - Mon, 30 Dec 2002 2:52am
Jake Whoops...I meant hide their inability to write good songs... - Mon, 30 Dec 2002 3:52am
randal Hey, jake....
wanna fuck?????

Bong Hey Jake
Wanna Fuck????

psych!

Sticky Kola

PS I thought the songs were fun, and well crafted, I enjoyed the show and when your band plays ANYWHERE Jake Id be happy to hear your songs, in the meantime while you are qualified to say simply I like or I no like, thats all your qualified to do...so the rock reviewer comment about musicians ability dosnt really hold any weight for me or anyone who has taken the time to create, rehurse, and preform a song in front of a crowd of people...its harder than it looks man.
Oh the world filled with shit house lawyers save me !!!!
Sticky Kola - Mon, 30 Dec 2002 3:21pm
ho-hum Seeing as how this is the show reviews section, I would prefer a critical review to a simple "i like or i no like." So, I guess, thanks Jake. - Mon, 30 Dec 2002 3:56pm
hum-ho I too enjoy a good critical review when it comes from a reliable and knowledgeable source ....
what was jakes qualifications again......
Guess ho hum is yet another arm chair quarterback
no thanks jake Ill make up my own mind - Mon, 30 Dec 2002 4:01pm
Anonymous Jake your full of shit. your probably the one trying to hide your little pinprick of a cock. The songs were great from my perspective and everyone jumping around in front of the stage seemed to agree with me. - Mon, 30 Dec 2002 8:29pm
Jake This is why livevictoria is a cesspool. 1) Notice how this section is called 'show reviews' - just because I didn't like the show doesn't mean that other people shouldn't like it. So am I not allowed to give an unfavorable review? Am I not allowed to have my own opinion? 2) People like you (maybe you're in Big Muff...I dunno) seem to get all testosterony when something displeases you and resort to dick jokes. You're contributing to the immaturity that plagues this board, not to mention Victoria. 3) I stand by my belief that Big Muff are bad. The songs are dull and the female vocals annoy me.

That's all I have to say. - Mon, 30 Dec 2002 9:07pm
Curious George Speak on Jake!! (Not about Big Muff, but the man's right... he has a right to his opinion people.) - Mon, 30 Dec 2002 9:16pm
Anonymous in my opinion...big muff are an awful, generic waste of time. even the songs they cover are bad. and i mean just baaaaaaad. - Mon, 30 Dec 2002 9:41pm
hum ho Everyone is intitled to an opinion and if you put it up on a board your gonna get responses...duh....Still, having an opinion is one thing...having an opinion about something you know little about and then publicly sharing it is just stupid. But your point about live Vic is somewhat valid in that the board allows people like Jake to insult the creative output of others from the saftey of his parents basement...that is not cool, interesting, or significant, but just babble for Jakes ego. I agree with Sticky, you are qualified to say I liked it or I did not ..you got slammed because your rock reviewer bullshit was, and is, not welcome.
Jerk off your ego elswhere. - Mon, 30 Dec 2002 10:00pm
Jake Rock Reviewer? God you're (and please...it's spelt 'you're' not 'your') dense. Rock reviewer? I went to the show and shared my opinion which was unfavourable. 'Jerk off my ego'? Was I promoting anything or myself? No I wasn't. - Mon, 30 Dec 2002 10:18pm
hum ho Hide their ability to write good songs....

ya rock reviewer asshole - Mon, 30 Dec 2002 10:30pm
hum ho PS thanks for the grammer lesson dick head....and I believe in your own little world you imagined that your insult was an opinion.... bet it made you feel cool though huh? - Mon, 30 Dec 2002 10:34pm

ho-hum Wow, hum ho, who are you that you care so much? And why is your fake name so similar to mine? - Tue, 31 Dec 2002 3:24am
nomadric I thought the show was amazing.
hey jake, reviewing the vocals and criticizing them simply because they're female proves your credibility is hovering right BELOW 0. draw a line between genre and individual bands moron. this band has proven themselves over and over both with their songs and shows. they got people that love em and people that hate em, and that's the way it is with every single band in town. they fuckin rule that's the end of it. - Tue, 31 Dec 2002 11:49am
Shannon Speaking as a girl, I agree with Jake. The Female voclas annoy me and it has nothing to do with them being girls. I just think their horrible singers. The show they played last night was bad. - Tue, 31 Dec 2002 3:39pm
Donnie Black Big Muff rule, and they look good too. - Tue, 31 Dec 2002 4:06pm
Anonymous hehe thanks for the laugh jake. If you don't like my band or our type of music or our lack of a male lead singer. that's fine with me :) at least people have an opinion about music and are not apathetic about the local scene. It's awesome you seem to care so much one way or the other. Personally, I like reading the little in-fights that go on about everyones shows. it can get pretty entertaining. (and by the way we were hauling gear across town to lucky when that message you insinuated was posted by us is logged).

As for you Shannon, actually our singers family member died and we had to do the show last minute without her. but thanks for being so caring and understanding. - Tue, 31 Dec 2002 5:02pm

As usual, anon posters again, to scared to speak to real people and hiding behind their couch at home. Big Muff rocks, singing is good, and they're fun to watch! Some bands drain you if they're too loud or annoying. Plus they're great eye-candy! I love the muff.

Hail rocker chicks! I don't really like BM's music, but let's face it, chick rockers rule! Also they seem to attract lots of female fans to their shows. Much more than many of the male bands in this city, and that seems like a good thing to me... - Sun, 5 Jan 2003 4:17pm

BONG THE MONKEY SAYS ALL PRESS IS GOOD PRESS!

ENJOY BM!

Sticky Kola - Mon, 6 Jan 2003 12:40am
Lamb Attack I agree, Fatline fucking rip. But, they need a singer so that the dude on guitar can just concentrate on the guitar. If they had a wicked singer, they'd be TRULY FAT. And if you could tap the drummer's energy you could run Two internet fridges, a convection oven/dehydrator/dishwasher/internet combo unit, an Internet Electric sonar Dog whistle, and a red haired robot named Lucy for at least six hours; if thats what you're into.

And I know your intellectual mind is so much more refined than mine and all the others and you wouldn't want to smother us with facts and details that might only serve to curtail.......smokin' reefer in the mornin', smokin' reefer in the mornin', smokin' reefer in the mornin' jus me an Captn' Crunch.

Fuck all you all...I'm going to take the Raffi route and a pave my future in gold. "The more we get together, the happier we'll be."

Beware of the mice - they're following the Pine Beetles coming in from the North. Watch your back. I love you all...even though you're ugly and ignorant. See you in Reno. Over and out. - Mon, 6 Jan 2003 1:07am
Anonymous They do rock. the dude from Fatline doesn't need to just concentrate on guitar though.I like the vocals, and that guys amazing. big muff was amazing too - way louder and heavier than I expected. It was a good night.

the more we get together together together the more we get together the happier we'll be.
I have a feeling that song is going to haunt me all day - Mon, 6 Jan 2003 1:27pm
randal epic, man, epic.... I feel the same fuckin way...(re: those song lyrics) the more I get together the happier I'll be........

ps.... sticky kola ... was that you with the hoots??? Thanks man, great fucking night.... blooody limes, Jack Daniels and all....

I pleasure myself, you don't have to worry about it. - Tue, 7 Jan 2003 2:57am
Troutbreath Sticky Kola......with hoots? Couldn't possibly be Sticky with hoots. You must be mistaking him for someone else. Sticky is a fine upstanding member of the community and a responsible family man. I'll swear to that in court. - Tue, 7 Jan 2003 11:27am
Lamb Attack On the Big Muff, the muff lovers huff and they puff, to blow the coarse curls out of the way. But the Big Muff is tough and stubborn enough to hold those muff blowers at bay. The Big Muff is rowdy. It does not say Hi it says Howdy. Yeah, the Big Muff can be scary, and the big muff can be merry. The big muff can laugh, the big muff can cry, the big muff can be wet or the big muff can be dry. Bottom line, is the Big Muffs fine. - Tue, 7 Jan 2003 3:50pm
mb I'm so confused! I thought a Big Muff was a distortion pedal. I don't understand all these other things. what's going on? :) - Tue, 7 Jan 2003 5:16pm
Lamb Attack Remember the mice? Ah-ha! How quickly you forget. Squeak squeak, squeak...OH NO! Gotcha. Thats right. Fret not about the pedal young sandwich artist; just worry about keeping your fingers out of the meat balls and keep a tennis raquet handy. - Tue, 7 Jan 2003 7:04pm

Bong Hey Randal,
I guess youll have to come to the next show and see, by the way I hear you know Jamie our Sax man, he agrees with me ...you are hot......and....I m not the worrin type.... we all pleasure ourselves baby, in the end, nothin but time and our never ending ability to get ourselves off.......
I thought your show was really great and I hope we get to PLAY together soon.....
Tao and kisses,

the mice excuses excuses - Mon, 13 Jan 2003 2:34pm
Troutbreath What? That he was sick or that he's swedish? - Mon, 13 Jan 2003 3:59pm
Fatman with the six-string just kidding, he's not sweedish and he wasn't sick. you guys are just so hostile sometimes. you're very right though, I would rather just concentrate on the guitar, but hell, I like to sing and I think trios make the best music. - Tue, 14 Jan 2003 5:31pm

Hey Fatman,

I saw you guys once, a long time ago, in a Galaxy far, far away. Actually, it was at Diablo's. I thought you guys ripped; good energy, your singing wasn't bad and your guitar playing was really wicked. If you are serious about concentrating on the guitar, let me know. I am 28 and I'm a singer/rythm guitarist and I'd love to jam with you guys. If not, best of luck and keep up the good work. - Tue, 14 Jan 2003 7:00pm
