| Jaron Evil User Info... | ok, I could start listing off all the pop stars (Brittney Spears, Hillary Duff, Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake etc), but we ALL know they suck. Instead I'll mention those bands that others might disagree with, but bother me all the same. Ok here we go... THE WHITE STRIPES - How can "music" like this sell records?! MODEST MOUSE - This indie rock shit was cute for about 2 songs, then it just got stupid. THE YEAH YEAH YEAHS - I can't imagine anyone who finds their singers voice pleasing to the ear. SAM ROBERTS - What a waste of space. THE TRAGICALLY HIP - I know they have a lot of fans, and I know they are fairly decent musicians, but for some reason their sound really annoys me. Nothing personal. NUCLEAR ASSAULT - Worst thrash band I've ever heard. I bought a video of theirs from Wal-Mart, just on the fact that they were metal and the video was only 2 bucks...I want my two bucks and 100 minutes of my life back. BOY - I'm sure they're nice guys, I know Maury Kaufman personally, but I'm sorry, theres nothing worse than a Sam Roberts ripoff. LIMP BISCUIT - Hmm...maybe if I start wearing colored contact lenses people will think I'm a good guitarist too. And Fred Dirst is a whiny bitch who needs to shut the fuck up. LINKIN PARK - Their songs are always fun to teach to my students...all two powerchords. | Lucius User Info... | I definately hate the White Stripes - get a fucking bass player dumb ass. I do however, like LimpBizkit, slipknot,linken park, metallica (well maybe not as much since I seen their pansy asses whining and shit on their movie). It seems that once something hits mainstream audiences think its uncool or something. As long as the music gets some sort of emotion going like crying or kicking someones ass then its good music to me. Bad rock actually makes me want to die, GOOD CHARLOTTE, worst band ever, like offensively bad. If you play pop punk, juust admit it, like simple plan know they play simple pop, why can't Good Charlotte admit there bad. Other hates include: Montley Crue, NOFX and Alexisonfire. The Hip are also a great band, thoughtful guitar work and innovative bass lines and very highh strung vocals. The Hip - have written some terrible songs/have written some great songs - very creative, innovative and well researched lyrically. Metallica - were great in their day when they were full of angst. | Eurydice User Info... | I'm not going to deny that Mr Stagger has a damn fine ego and a heck of a lot of determination, especially for someone his age. What I AM saying, however, is this: His MUSIC (the point, above all) is absolutely terrible. I've seen him play many times and have enjoyed his fake rock star attitude and danced along to his silly songs. But anyone who has seen him or heard him has to admit that he can't sing and is blatantly ripping off Ryan Adams.
