Somewhat crazy show (I expected more for a Zeke show from the audience). Good to finally catch them live. I was up front the whole time, lost my glasses, found the glasses, got piss drunk. Good times.

Champions of Hell are still going? They gotta come out to van again, haven't seen them in years. Their old guitarist now plays in my band. - Sun, 31 Oct 2004 11:43am

Zeke were a riot! Like a really fast Motorhead minus Lemmy's vocals. The songs were short, but super intense. I liked the way you could tell when a song was over by the drummer standing up and doing cymbal blasts while giving the finger. They were very cool. The lack of moshing was probably due to the early show nature of the evening. Still no complaints.
"Robin Black" wasn't my thing. All the songs sounded the same. Monotony. - Mon, 1 Nov 2004 7:08am

I went to the show in Vancouver - The Drink had the bands off the stage by eleven so they could milk the night for Halloween. We showed up at 10:30 and Zeke was already half way through their set, sort of bummed me out but it was awesome to run into a bunch my bro's there. - Wed, 3 Nov 2004 2:23pm

I also missed the Vancouver show due to it being early! Not too big a deal since I believe I've seen Zeke about 3 times down south before.

Anyway, I heard that someone threw one of those hard plastic cups at Zeke's drummer so he came out and kicked the girl who did it in the head after the song was done. Then the girl's boyfriend went up after him.. and well, a bit of drama, then they went back to playing. - Thu, 4 Nov 2004 10:58am

I heard a rumour (I repeat just a rumour) that Steve took off before paying Zeke for this show. I wonder if there is any validaty to that statement. - Fri, 5 Nov 2004 8:55am
