| jay brown User Info... | while there are a few bands out there I dont personally like, I definitely wouldnt say they are the worst bands in town because it's all about personal choice. Plus a lot of bands choose to live on the island, you dont have to be on the mainland to be sucsessful, you just have to add a ferry ride onto your tour, thats all. - Sun, 27 Jun 2004 10:58pm | ||

| brad User Info... | "if they were really that good, wouldn't they be on the mainland by now?" not to mention...there are alot of bands that have no illusions of becoming "famous" etc. its more about playing the music for the love of doing it.alot of the bands listed on the other post of top 5..really don't give a rat's ass about making money from their music. so moving to a bigger market etc really isn't a goal. for me personally, i have always had to pay to play..and the day it becomes about money and a job..is probably the day i put my sticks down for good. i don't care if people want to make money from music etc. but i've never played commercially viable music (thank christ)..so its not even an option, even if i had starry eyes blinded by the big city lights.... - Mon, 28 Jun 2004 12:55am | ||

| D�d[]Sanger User Info... | The band is unnamed at the moment Census(And it's Dod Sanger for the record, the name was right above you :\), line up change and now our sound isin't really fitting well with the name Violator, so until we can agree on something, we're just 5 guys jammin'(And damn near every day I might add, so we will emerge in not too long!). *Theres also some cheeseball rap group I found called "Tha Violataz" so that was a discouragement as well!* Helln, Nope, I can't say that I have.
