Well lets get to the chase, I was uber stoned when I showed up, but even before 10:30 the first band hasn't played, oops, I didn't want to get that drunk. So first band plays, reminded me of a No Doubt knockoff, not the case, they rocked, then the second band played, not a big deal, still rocked (there from Montreal), then Agent took the stage, I though the crowd would of been bigger, but wow those boys gave it there all, I was stoked!!! IN any case, met Agent Orange afterwards, wow nicest people ya wanna meet, nuff said... - Tue, 22 Jun 2004 2:16am

o.k. the first band sucked. I'm not a huge ska fan, but I can appreciate good ska when I hear it and that wasnt it. They were a crappy no doubt ripoff with no stage presence... but as I said I'm not a big ska fan, they did cover Operation Ivy, which normally would make them great in my books, but they wrecked it so I was pretty jaded after that... the second band I thought were actually pretty damn good, not my usual cup of tea but damn talented musicians. Agent Orange, well now lets just say I was 15 again by the time they were done. I heard they didnt play very well in van but man they definitely pulled it off here. On top of that they have the bass player from J.F.A. in the band now... I almost cried, I could of gotten my J.F.A. tour shirts signed if I had of known. Anyways, they played a great set, and hung out and chatted for a while afterwards, we traded stupid skateboard injury stories.. I think I won. - Tue, 22 Jun 2004 11:08am

Did anyone think to ask Mike Palm if he really felt that he was justified in suing The Offspring on the grouds that "Keep em' Seperated" was a ripoff of "Bloodstains". I still don't hear it.

I'm glad the show was good(I hate you all!).

I should grab the audio off you for that show, the old tracks sure sound different these days. Hey Jay, which OpIvy track did they cover? - Wed, 23 Jun 2004 11:30pm

Coulda been the best show I've seen since I moved back to Vic 2 and half years ago... . Agent Orange were better than I hoped or dreamed possible. The Frenetics were pretty good; not really my thing but they are pretty good at what they're doin'. Hogpuncher, and their songs, were lackin' energy in a BIG way. In summation - a damn fine show!! - Tue, 29 Jun 2004 7:32pm

Hogpuncher sucked. The Frenetics were very good and very talented even though I don't really listen to that kind of music. Agent Orange were great. I hated how they changed up the lyrics to Bloodstains and threw in the Gabba Gabba Hey and comment about Joey Ramone though. Seemed pretty cheezy. It was worth going to see them from Nanaimo. - Fri, 2 Jul 2004 10:00am
