| Vincent F. Evans User Info... | Would you like to be able to easily share your Band or Musician profile and upcoming show listings with everyone on your promotional Email list? Here's a way you can use your profile as your EPK (Electronic Press Kit). If you click on the following links, you will notice that the Band / musician profiles show up in the right panel of Live Victoria and the relevant upcoming show listings are displayed in the left panel: http://livevictoria.com/index.php?content_action=artists&content_param=133850 http://livevictoria.com/index.php?content_action=artists&content_param=138927 http://livevictoria.com/index.php?content_action=artists&content_param=145328 Note that the links are all identical, except for the Band / Musician ID number. To make the same thing happen for your profile, do the following: 1. Copy this link: http://livevictoria.com/index.php?content_action=artists&content_param= and paste it into a temporary location, such as a word processor document, notepad, or blank Email message. 2. Go to the Bands or Musicians Directory and find your listing. 3. Right click on your listing and select Send Link (this will open a new message in your email program with the link displayed in the message area). 4. Copy the 6 digit Band / Musician ID number from the link and add it to the end of the link you copied in step 1. 5. Save the new link. 6. Discard the temporary Email message that was created in step 3. 7. If the procedure was completed successfully, when you click on the new link, your browser will open a new Live Victoria window and you will see your Band / Musician profile displayed in the right panel and your upcoming shows in the left. So now, whenever you want to promote your upcoming show(s), all you have to do is include the link you just created in your promotional Email messages and everyone you send to will easily be able to access information about your gig, read your profile and listen to your music samples, without having to navigate further. Another benefit of this method will be that your Email recipients will learn about Live Victoria and how powerful and valuable it is to our community of musicians and concert goers. Cheers! | Sati User Info... | Seriously? SERIOUSLY??? I've been asking Nev to build this in for us for about 5 years now! Holy crap, you have no idea how I'm feeling right now. For LiveVan, people can use this: http://livevan.com/index.php?content_action=artists&content_param= And a couple things: - I tried that from my opera browser and it wouldn't give me the send link, but "copy link address" worked - my band/musician id number was 5 digits, not 6 and it worked. You not only get your profile and upcoming shows, but all your archived shows & posters & photos, links to past & current members and all their links, AND your audio files! Here's how to make your band profile appear in the right panel while your upcoming shows appear in the left panel: http://livevictoria.com/index.php?ca=artists&cp=138927 Copy the above link and replace the last set of digits (138927) with your own band ID number (to obtain your band ID number, read the first message in this thread). For Promoters, copy the following link and replace the last set of digits (200) with your company ID number. http://livevictoria.com/index.php?ca=promoters&cp=200 For Venues, copy the following link and replace the last set of digits (60 ) with your venue ID number. http://livevictoria.com/index.php?ca=venues&cp=60 For Live Vancouver users, use the same links as above, but replace http://livevictoria.com with http://livevan.com For Van Isle Music users, use the same links as above, but replace http://livevictoria.com with http://vanislemusic.com Now all you need to do, is include your new customized link in your show announcement Email messages and everyone on your Email list will be able to get all of your current information with a single click.
