Message Board > Gear Buy & Sell > BC Rich NJ Series Warlock w/ scalloped frets - $275 |
David User Info... | This is an old Warlock guitar, it's an NJ series which was BC Rich's middle-of-the-road model: better than the garbage platinum and bronze series, but more affordable than the high end LA Series. I bought it off eBay years ago and wasn't really happy with it because I didn't like the feel of the neck and some of the switches weren't wired properly. I wound up scalloping the entire neck as an experiment and REALLY liked it, it made it a lot of fun to play. Eventually I started playing 7-strings and I've never looked back though, so it's time to pass this axe on. It comes with a softshell case that actually fits it. It has a reverse headstock, which looks badass. I've already mentioned the neck, which you will either love or hate. There are dings on the horns, I've taken pics of them. The switches are still questionable, if you looked up the wiring diagrams online you could probably fix it in a few minutes. I haven't tried myself but have done similar repairs on other guitars and found it pretty straightforward. I think each pickup has its own volume knob and then there's one master tone knob, and for switches there's a pickup selector and then each pickup has its own single/double coil selector as well. That's my guess, anyway! - Wed, 31 Mar 2010 3:06pm Edited: Wed, 31 Mar 2010 3:06pm

Warlock Delahunt User Info... | Where did you get that guitar? And why is it that someone scalloped the neck? Probably destroyed it doing so. That was my guitar for several years. Where did you get it? - Sun, 28 Jun 2015 4:29am
