If you start getting known and there are other bands with the same name that can prove they have been using it for longer, they can force you to change it. | mikesaturday User Info... | ever hear of a band called American Nightmare? no, probably not, because you dont listen to hardcore, you listen to pop music. Anyway, they were the biggest fucking band in the east coast hardcore scene a year or two ago, had 3 7 inches, a full length on Bridge 9 records (again who you've never heard of but are the biggest hardcore label on the east coast) and then some small-time bar band with the same name sued them. they never had an album, were a covers only band, played bars once a month and they sued the shit out of this hard working constantly touring band for the name. american nightmare is now give up the ghost. why? because they got fucked hard. personally, i dont give a shit whether you change your name or not, maybe all three twiceborns can get famous and then you can all join together and be huge and way more like slipknot with your 26 members. just dont believe if it comes down to a legal battle you're going to win. because you're small potatoes. slipknot wasnt.
