As of about 3PM this afternoon (May 11, 2004), tickets for the 3rd Annual Noise! Festival will be available from Ditch Records at 635 Johnson St. Limited seating for this sucker so don't miss out by being a lazy pants.

You can also purchase tickets via PayPal (email [email protected] for details).

Free admission (and grovelling) to anyone who can help me out with use of a miniDV camcorder for the event.

Here's the blurb:

DIY production house PR Martyr is proud to announce that the third annual Noise! festival will be taking place here in Victoria, B.C., Canada on Saturday, May 29, 2004. The festival is an all day event focussing on (surprise) noise based musics and media and will be featuring the talents of artists from Canada and the US creating sounds ranging from harsh digital noise to dark ambient to crazy performance art to outsider freakout and back again. Decent PA, video projection, merch table and classic video games. This is the real deal, accept no substitutes.

Griefer is taking a rest so as to allow the retardo freakout damage of Night Ape to rise from the muck and mire (same peeps, different noise).

=)

Also of note I expect will be Grandpa Big Balls (David P Smith and friends). I'll post a breakdown of what to expect from everyone later in the week.

It's "free admission" only if you can help me out with use of a miniDV camcorder. The actual event costs $10 for all day, $8 for bands and $3 for just vids.

Even at that I will still be personally losing around $200 - $300 dollars putting the sucker on so don't be griping about ticket prices or Night Ape will use his electric rake on your buttocks.

=)
