If you remember JFK at last year's festival Kick Off show at Steamers you're in for another treat. They also will be playing new material from their new CD Mash up the Dance. Don't miss it! JFK & CONSPIRATORS (Winnipeg, Manitoba) Formed in 1994, J.F.K & the Conspirators are a 7 piece traditional ska, reggae and dancehall outfit which has been dazzling fans and critics alike for almost 10 years. Hailing from Winnipeg, Manitoba the Conspirators have been playing all across the country from small clubs to large halls opening for the likes of The Slackers, Bad Manners, and the Selector. JFK & the Conspirators stay true to these early rhythms and bring forth the true champion boss sound! In 1998, JFK & the Conspirators released the �Major of Ganja City� on Stomp Records. It continues to play on college radio stations everywhere and has kept these rude boys busy performing since then! Now JFK & the Conspirators are proud to announce their newest release on Bacteria Buffet Records � �Mash up the Dance!� This is the perfect CD to rally around for this upcoming Canadian tour. Fans fond of reggae and traditional ska styles as well as dancehall will thoroughly enjoy JFK & the Conspirators. They are and always have been the talk of the town in ska and reggae circles in their hometown of Winnipeg. And when JFK are on tour, ska and reggae fans make a point of attending their shows as they�re always a treat! THE SKATOMATICS (Vancouver, BC) Where have all the Vancouver Rude Boys Gone? That is the question the Skatomatics from Vancouver would like to know. And the answer will be right on stage on Friday, May 14th @ Steamers Pub! The Skatomatics came together in a storage locker in Vancouver back in 2001 when a couple of local rude boys hooked up with former members of Edmonton�s Mad Bomber Society and Halifax ska pioneers Dr. Skankworthy. In February 2004 the Skatomatics released their first independent EP � �Skatomatics for the People� But what these boys really like is playing live. The Skatomatics have been packing dance floors in Vancouver at venues such as the W.I.S.E Hall, The Brickyard, the Royal, the world famous The Railway Club and the Marpole Curling Club. The band will hit the road this spring for their Western Canada tour. Victoria is in for a treat on May 14th @ Steamers Pub. We know the Skatomatics will dazzle everyone with their nice ska, reggae, punk!RWPO (Royal Winnipeg Porn Orchestra) RWPO (Royal Winnipeg Porn Orchestra) take a humorous approach to their music by mixing rockabilly, rock, ska and reggae, into their sets. This crazy 4- piece Bacteria Buffet Recording Band gets a rise out of surprising their fans with their crazy lyrics and sarcastic tunes, Songs such as �Woman�s Got Me Drinking� and Smokin Cigarettes and Watching Hockey Night in Canada are examples of this band�s stage persona. Interestingly enough Bacteria Buffet Records CEO Roger Shank put RWPO together as a dare in 1996 and the band has lasted until today! So we guess this collective of crazy prairie drunk rockers who love to sing funky songs about hockey, evil Tories and more have appeal to crowds one way or another all of these years.J You�ll get to see for yourself when you come hear them at Steamers Pub on Friday, May 14/2004!
