| NOW HEAR THIS | First of all this isnt a CHAT LINE its a Bulletin Board. Second of all metal made its comeback about 3 years ago, but if your out of the loop, you wouldnt know ( being from sooke and all ) Thirdly, the band Persih dug their own grave with exactly the same attitude you have in your threads of response. They are a band that lacks members, gig history, they havent even got songs on their website. They try and wow everyone by boasting about their big cross country tour, when that same tour is bookable by any third rate garage band in the country. No premium venue will cater to bands that arent either invited by the headling act, or have a promo pack, including songs, to prove to the venue manager that the band is worthy of their club. Since Perish dont have an album out, or even mp3's onlne, then there is no way for anyone to test their claims of being so superior. Thus they get the reaction that they have gotten. Id like to see Perish survive in a real city with that attitude. They'd be swept under the carpet so fast the cockroaches wouldnt even have time to hide. - Sun, 9 Feb 2003 5:15pm | ||

| Driven | NOW HERE THIS. do you get out much.you sound just like the pompus club owners of this town. most people here think that you must gig localy. bullshit! local is good for practice, if you really want to spread the word you have to get out of this little town. and i could book a twenty to thirty gig date right now for a band that doesn't even excist nor have samples. just by getting on the phone, i could pick up ten to twenty more to as we go to fill in th days off.there are hunderds of places across canada looking for bands to play. P.S.
