We just thought we'd bring you some nice Monday morning cheer on this sunny morning by telling you that CALIFFO DE LUXE aka Veneto Ska Cabernet Orchestra- 8 piece ska/rocksteady band from Venice, Italy are confirmed to play at VICTORIA'S 5TH ANNIVERSARY SKA FESTIVAL Saturday, July 17th/2004 @ the Victoria Curling Club. They will be flying in direct from Venice and staying for one week. If you know people that can speak fluent Italian please do not hestitate to e-mail us. Billets will also be needed. Califfo de Luxe's music ranges from quicker upbeat ska to rocksteady styles with a jazzy edge. The eight piece Veneto Ska Cabernet Orchestra have also played at some major festivals throughout Italy. MP3s of their music and more information about the band will be posted on the updated VICTORIASKAFEST.CA web site shortly.
