Tambo User Info... | Just curious as to what rigs people are rocking. I just got my GK 1001RB head in today, and picked up a 4x10 RBH too. Running my Musicman Stingray through it and it essentially has infinite balls. I'm also using a korg tuning pedal, but am probably gonna upgrade to rack mount soonish. All rack mount baby! - Thu, 31 Jan 2008 5:12pm Edited: Thu, 31 Jan 2008 5:34pm

Tambo User Info... | I wish I'd tried the Neo 4x12 cab, but they didn't have any in at L&M and didn't want to wait another 2 months for it to come in to see if I wanted to get it. Btw, that's my old amp I just upgraded from :P. - Sun, 3 Feb 2008 2:48am Edited: Sun, 3 Feb 2008 2:49am
tom User Info... | Right on Tambo. I'm running the same rig essentially. 1001RB head (which I'm addicted to!) and 1x15 and 4x10 block cabs. I love the boom that emanates. Running that with an Ibanez EDB600 and Ibanez EDB555 5 string. I liiike, it's niiice. - Sun, 3 Feb 2008 8:19am

I do some zine writing. | "GK 800RB through NEO 15 and NEO 2x12. All my bass' are Ibanez." I don't understand why people think using an apostrophe makes a word plural. BASSES. Basses IS a word. My current bass rig is nonexistent. I don't even have a practice amp. I think I'm borrowing someone else's gear at the next couple TxMx shows. - Mon, 4 Feb 2008 3:28pm Edited: Mon, 4 Feb 2008 3:32pm
Pierce User Info... | "My current bass rig is nonexistent. I don't even have a practice amp. I think I'm borrowing someone else's gear at the next couple TxMx shows" I don't understand why people who don't have any bass gear would call themselves a bass player. You won't find a ninja without a ninja suit, samething. Move over to the kiddie pool. That Markbass gear kicks ass. I was going to buy it, went back, and it was gone. - Mon, 4 Feb 2008 4:54pm Edited: Mon, 4 Feb 2008 4:55pm
Tambo User Info... | L&M have a markbass 6x10 I think in right now... A bit over my price range though, I think it was around 1400, also it was too big (needed a smaller cab for now) - Mon, 4 Feb 2008 9:25pm
Tyler User Info... | Bass isn't my main instrument and, as a full time UVic student, my budget is tight. I'm saving up for a pretty typical Ampeg setup. My bass is a Fender Jazz fretless with custom DiMarzio pickups and Rockerfield bridge. I understand you're probably a bit pissed off from when I was an asshole earlier in the thread. The misused apostrophe has always bothered me. - Mon, 4 Feb 2008 9:51pm
Pierce User Info... | Pissed off? Nope. Just jealous over how you make your face look so girly. Now go back to combing your hair, and saving your Paper-Route cash so you can buy my crappy 2nd kit, a typical Ampeg Set-Up. Next. PS: I do have a sweet set up for sale - Mon, 4 Feb 2008 10:57pm Edited: Mon, 4 Feb 2008 11:13pm
Tyler User Info... | Brutal, dude. I have nothing to say to that. I'm working for UVic this year as a recording technician but I probably do make as little as a kid with a paper route. I'm younger than you, yep. Cool. Back to bass rig discussions? - Tue, 5 Feb 2008 1:02am
Pierce User Info... | No worries dude, alot of kiddies end up swallowing water when they test the deep end. Brutal? Hardly. Just stating some facts. Next! - Tue, 5 Feb 2008 7:51am Edited: Tue, 5 Feb 2008 7:52am
Pierce User Info... | Tom...... Our gear is very similar, seems you have the model "up" on everything i use. I'd be interested in hearing what sounds you have coming out of it. I just ordered an ICEMAN ICB300. I am not happy with the model Level, but i love the look. I love my Ibanez'. - Tue, 5 Feb 2008 7:55am

jackass User Info... | I've got a music man also, and play through an SVT 3 Pro and a 4x10 deep tuned cab. I LOVE my music man. Could dig a ditch with it then play a show right after. I also play through a sansamp driver. Gives even more growl to the musicman if you believe that. Sadly, haven't had a chance to use any of it in a while. If I could, I'd upgrade to a full tube amp though. Need sustain. - Tue, 5 Feb 2008 6:36pm
