| _Griphin_ User Info... | After waking up from a killer Rats Nest gig, I decided to check the newsgroups for new albums, when I grabbed this CD (yes, do plan to buy it). What a fun album, track #1 (Real Bands) has really catchy riffs, I was impressed. I find that this album sounds a lot like the new Rancid CD (dunno why) but the singing is way better. I even think it's a better album then "It's Never Too Late To Annoy Your Parents". The rest of the tracks really stand out, I always did admire the Montreal Punk scene, cause many bands really play like their having fun, IMO. Hard to pick out a favorite track, I really like: Real Bands, 1993 The Year That Punk Died, Montreal Jazz Fest, Seventeen and Great Canadian Rock and Roll Tour (they do a killer job covering "Great Balls of Fire" too :).
