| Nik Olaz User Info... | The Black Dahlia Murder is the re-incarnation of At The Gates and Carcass. Uhallowed is a killer album. With riffs not as well executed since Slayer and twin vocals that rip apart your very soul, BDM makes American thrash stand out again, much like bands like Exodus and Slayer themselves once did. And these guys look like a bunch of hardcore kids, but let me assure you that there is no hardcore elements in Unhallowed. If you never saw these men, you'd expect them to look like a buncha guys you'd see in some Swedish thrash band. The brutality of this disc is unparallel, it simply slits your bowels open. I really enjoy this release, and you will too. I'm glad Metal Blade snatched these guys up. Straight up fuckin brutal thrash/grind. Definately in this years top 5. - Sun, 21 Sep 2003 1:24am | ||
