ricky jak User Info... | Whipped down to Lyles today after working 6 days straight.... my mission was to buy Metal Church tickets... its gonna be a good banger that one eh!. Anyway i happened to noticed they had a few Records in punk section. Wow its all there on vinyl just like when i was a kid. ... only they want $250 for that crappy Nomeansno wormmies single.. yikes i have to say that is probably my least favorite local song ever recorded... remember thats just my idiot opinion. Anyway... i had to buy some re-issue records... instead of a 26er of Rye and a 24 of Lucky and a couple of packs Export A green... i bought records. I bought Minor Threats "Out of Step" record... i borrowed this record of of Steve Mcbean back in 1984 and taped it but is long gone daddy.... "OUT OF STEP" what a incredible album and what an incredible band... this record was recorded 25 years ago and i just listened to it again for the first time in years.... my 16 year old son came upstairs and looked at me like the freak i am as i stood there dancing to "OUT OF STEP WITH THE WORLD!!!" "BETRAY" "It Follwed Me" "Sob Story" and holy crapolla.... what an incredible album. When the SoFA just played host to some band called Billy tALENT.... UHHHH i hope most of the mall punks have this Minor Threat record in thier collection...or maybe thats an insult to Minor Threat to even associate them with Silly Talent.... OK as usual after listening to music like this i have to go lay down. I also bought Husker Dus "New Day Rising"... ohhhhhh another gooder! later kooks -ricky jak - Sat, 20 Jan 2007 6:17pm

tyler User Info... | personally i think look back and laugh is the best minor threat song and probably in the top 3 punk songs ever..but yah minor threat fucking rules, the greatest punk band ever, they changed music forever, without minro threat there would be no youth subcultures, non of the "indie" there is today, this is my point, indie bands need to look to there roots and see it was all about the kids, this is why i all ages kicks ass, but i dont want to start another post that turns into a big fight minor threat best punk band ever - Mon, 22 Jan 2007 4:27pm
