_Griphin_ User Info... | WOW!!! Unreal!!! Nice way for Chuck to go out!!! Mind you, this CD isn't always that great, but take a listen to Breaking the Broken. It might not sound all that great to begin with, but like all of Chuck's work, it tends to grow on you. Pity Chuck wasn't around to finish this CD, to me it seems like he used a lot of influence from his earlier CDs Human and Individual Thought Patterns in a number of the songs. I was surprized after I listened to it, I wonder what Chuck was planning to do with Death Metal after this CD was released. Worth finding, thumbs up!!! - Mon, 8 Jan 2007 12:59pm Edited: Mon, 8 Jan 2007 1:02pm

Bryan User Info... | Chuck was around to finish The Fragile Art of Existence, it's the upcoming second Control Denied album (over which all kinds of ridiculous legal disputes have surfaced) that he wasn't able to complete during his lifetime. Great album either way, I'd say it's up there with any of Death's later stuff. - Mon, 8 Jan 2007 6:36pm
_Griphin_ User Info... | No, no, I don't think that's right, Fragile Art of Existance was the first Control Denied album, Chuck was working on "When Man and Machine Collide" when he died from the cancer. - Mon, 8 Jan 2007 10:20pm
Bryan User Info... | No dude, Chuck died two years after The Fragile Art was released. There's a huge deal being made over the legal dispute between Chuck's family and the owner of Hammerheart Records (who the second album was slated to be released by prior to Chuck's passing) over the right to finish the album and have it released. Here's the latest clip from the story: http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermouth.net/news.aspx?mode=Article&newsitemID=64892 - Mon, 8 Jan 2007 10:31pm
_Griphin_ User Info... | OK, I'm confused. The Fragile Art of Existance was the only album that came out. "When Man and Machine Collide" was the CD Chuck was working on when he died from a tumor. Chuck knew that Hammerfall was a bad label to begin with according to what I read on Blabbermouth about it. According to Aymar: "Many readers have mistaken the fact that Chuck's sister took the master tapes and tried to get another company to buy the rights as an act of selfishness or greed, which is not the case at all. Nothing could be further from the truth. I knew because I was told directly from Chuck, while he was still well enough to talk to me, that Hammerheart was not a financially stable enough company to handle the bands already on their roster, and they had not been fulling their obligations as far as the promises that had been made. After researching a bit and hearing from some of the artists already on the label, Chuck wanted out of the deal. Not to take the money and run, like Guido explains it, but like a gentleman, like a fair and honest businessman, to buy his way out of the deal. So it's the tracks on Zero Tolerance that are unfinished and Hammerheart tried to make money off the work (I think). In any case, I'll be happy to hear the final product this year!!! - Tue, 9 Jan 2007 12:19am Edited: Tue, 9 Jan 2007 10:02am
