Rex User Info... | I continue my habit of downloading music and not supporting the artists. This album is due to be released sometime in February next year I believe. Once again however, accidentally on purpose, it's been leaked well in advance. Record companies wanting to test the water with the fan base and before committing to big-time CD production or a simple mistake? I'm going with the first as this copy sounds mastered and ready for release. Anyways, on to a review: The CD is, on first listen, decent but nothing special. No where near as good as Silent Alarm. They're moving away from the the "raw" guitar and vocal sounds that makes their first album so catchy in favour of more electronic and 'spacey' effects. I'm sure it'll grow on me but as of yet I am not impressed. - Wed, 22 Nov 2006 11:52am Edited: Wed, 22 Nov 2006 11:53am | ||
