Ty Stranglehold User Info... | Definitely the best thing I've heard so far this year. The Gamblers take the rock sound they dominated on their previous effort "Something To Crow About" and add about a half a dozen new facets to the band. The disc will rock your bag off yet have you thinking about the lyrics. The recording sound is quite similar to Rocket From The Crypt's final effort "Live From Camp X-Ray" and that's a good thing. Throw in the best parts of bands such as Leatherface, Toys That Kill, New Bomb Turks, AC DC, Hickey... It's that good! This thing proves that emo doesn't stand for pimply faced nerds with flood pants and bad hair, it stands for emotion which this record has truckloads of. Pick it up next week when it comes out and get converted to the way of the Gamblers. - Mon, 17 Apr 2006 8:33pm Edited: Mon, 17 Apr 2006 8:39pm | ||
