The EP didn't do much for my musical taste but the production is well done and , imo, will go as far as they want. | _Griphin_ User Info... | Speaking of, I just bought the CD over at Lyle's Place, and yeah it sounds a lot more complex then Coffeeshop Confessions did (which I also bought, I still think the front cover looks sharp and really sticks out). But my biggest worry after buying the EP was reading the back cover of the CD to find that Chad Kroeger produced it, here's me thinking it will sound similar to Nickelback, but it actually doesn't. Now as much as I hate supporting 604 Records, be sure to buy lots of copies of the EP and help Armchair Cynics out. BTW: It seems they re-did "Suprise Ending" from the last EP. If you compare the tracks from both EPs, it gives you some idea how the band has progressed (I actually like the Coffeeshop version). - Mon, 19 Sep 2005 6:55pm | ||

Yes, that's right folks, despite a stellar track record in this town producing music of this ilk with great success (at least IMO) the music biz gods dictate that a "name" "producer" (and/or the owner of the label)gets to do the deed, for whatever reason. Welcome to the big league music business where production decisions are often more dependant on political considerations or ego gratification rather than actual talent and ability. I for one hope that when (if) the AC's get to do a full length that Adam gets to produce at least a portion of it. And Chad keeps his mitts off of it.
