_Griphin_ User Info... | WOO!!! New Pennywise CD coming out! Quick review: It's not as good as there last release, but I really like the last track, lies, too bad the rest of the album doesn't sound as good. I guess I'm gonna have to listen to it a few times and make my mind up then. - Fri, 24 Jun 2005 5:11pm
Ty Stranglehold User Info... | The last record that mattered in Pennywise's case is Unknown Road. After that it's rehash after rehash. - Sat, 25 Jun 2005 6:18am
_Griphin_ User Info... | I dunno, I really liked Land of the Free, guess it was the metal edge they had on the CD. I should listen to Unknown Road though. - Sat, 25 Jun 2005 7:50am
mike User Info... | ya, pennywise definately has gotten progressively lamer with time. that said i thought that there were some awesome tracks on "straight-ahead" and "full-circle" (society...c'mon). unknown road is definately their best album. they made some really good songs, and they have a cool style of playing punk rock that has influenced a lot of other peoples' playing, including myself. it's too just too bad they don't really care to take any action against the injustices and problems they sing about. - Sat, 25 Jun 2005 6:56pm
Ty Stranglehold User Info... | I lost all respect for them in 97 at the Warp (as in Warp Magazine) Tour. They were supposed to play something like 3rd to last but they left the premises and convieniently didn't come back until it was time for the headliners to play. BULLSHIT! That, and milking their former bass player's suicide for three albums in kind of lame too. Bro Hym was a substandard song the first time they recorded it. - Sun, 26 Jun 2005 8:21am
