Platoon User Info... | The Biological Mechanism of Hate is like a MeatLocker Seven boxing match. You put this cd into your stereo and right away you are hit with a one two punch. The band throws a quick jabbing left in the form of 'Isolate' which knocks you in the head with all of its time changes and mean groove. The swift uppercut to the chin comes from number two as 'Systemic' knocks you down with its energy and creative leads. MeatLocker reloads and hits the listener with another one - two combo in the form of songs three "Godsick" and four 'Vague Impression'. 'Godsick' is thrown straight at you with its quick and fierce riffs and time changes. 'Vague Impression' begins with an effect diluted riff that introduces the song and reminds you of the dizzying time changes that have been preformed. 'Ground Level Sleep' is a nice surprise and shows the depth of the writing and singing this band can achieve. 'Ground Level Sleep' is a drugged down slow, even psychadelic, two minute song which slows the album down but builds up into the next song as if this two minute trip is only a build up or introduction to song six 'Tribunal'. Here we hear the band launching into some more grooves which keep going into the next song 'Against the Dying'. Song seven is another quick, frenetic song with time changes that speed up but change so quickly you hit a cement wall. 'Lines of Blood' and 'Pyroclastic Flow' take a few breaths at the end of the album but the band keeps throwing punches and hitting the listener with heavy, thrashy, melodic, riffs that knock the listener around to the very end. The Biological Mechanism of Hate is a solid album that fans of Thrash, Death, or even Heavy Metal could appreciate. - Tue, 17 May 2005 10:03pm

Nothingface User Info... | WoW.....Thanks Platoon! We did put alot of blood, sweat and beers into that album and it really helped us establish ourselves even though ML7 had been around for so many years. Look for a new ML7 cd late 2005, early 2006!...........ps what would you give it on a scale of 1 to 10? - Wed, 18 May 2005 5:48pm
Platoon User Info... | You put me on the spot here Bram haha. A rating between 1-10 for The Biological Mechanism of hate is tough. I don't usually give ratings out, I don't like to equate a great work with a sterile number. Haha, but when all is said and done, you can be sure I would not have written that review if I hadn't been listening to that album so much. I am really looking forward to the new album. - Wed, 18 May 2005 7:03pm
Nothingface User Info... | hehe......sorry dude, that surely was not my intention. Equateing great work with a sterile number says enough for me. It makes it all worth while when someone writes how they really feel and it just happens to be a killer review! Thanks Again! - Wed, 18 May 2005 11:26pm
