Tom C User Info... | This new Hopesfall CD kicks serious ass! It is such a progression from their last album. It is the same great Hopesfall with a b it more melody and feeling. If you're looking for a new disc, i totally recommend A-Types. Thought everyone should know! Cheers, Tom - Wed, 24 Nov 2004 8:52pm
ScottL User Info... | Its a great album, but it took a lot of listening to it to accept it. I guess I was expecting something more along the lines of the No Wings To Speak Of album, or the Satellite Years album. I adore both of those. I liked that there were a lot of hardcore elements but it wasn't solely hardcore. This new album is a lot more hard-rockish, which is fine, but to me it was totally unexpected. The bonus on the new album is that it is a lot more hi-fi, resulting in cleaner instrumentals. I sometimes found the kick drum on Satellite Years got lost or muddy. The A-Types album is very different from Hopesfall's first albums. In fact, i had to doublecheck the line-up so see that it was the same. Thats my two cents. - Wed, 24 Nov 2004 9:59pm
