BlackKitten User Info... | I think everyone should check out this band. The website is under remodeling right now but it will be back soon. The song 'Miss Take' was featured on The Punk Show a few weeks back. Think Big John Bates with a with the male/female ratio switched. - Wed, 2 Jun 2004 9:10am
Nik Olaz User Info... | I saw this on Jimmy Kimmel. Wrong...just plain wrong. - Wed, 2 Jun 2004 4:50pm

Demen Ted User Info... | Now were talking! Although I dont have the album, a buddy sent me a bunch of mp3's from it... Kick ass. Their guitarist (Kim Nekroman) also plays slap bass in the Nekromantix, but you prolly knew that. They arn't really rockabilly, but they are also leaning away from psychobilly... Kinda pop-a-billy. Pretty cool though... Also! Mad sin does rule (Hear the screams of babies...), I also like Demented are Go (mongoloid: one of the best covers ever... Check out http://www.psychobilly-online.de/forum/index.php?showtopic=10597 for some cool pics), Meteors, and the Deadcats (I think they are listed on this site, actually). BlackKittnen User Info... | Fucking rights.. the deadcats rule... I kinda like deadbolt too. I actually bought the Horropops CD a few weeks ago and it hasn't come out of my CD player in awhile. The lyrics are fun and the instrumentaion is great. They have a killer video too. I think that they are quite a bit like Big John Bates... who is the KING. It's good to know that there are cool people in Vancouver... I can't seem to find you anywhere else - Sun, 6 Jun 2004 3:33pm
toby User Info... | I heard the "horror pops" a few months ago and checked them out on their page. I only have the two available tracks "where they wander" & "mistake". To me they sound like a fifties oi rock band with a hint of goth (got to be that europeian influence.) I can't remember off hand but aren't they from the Netherlands? Anyway I like there tunes too It's different than listening to metal or punk all the time. Hope there guitar player gets better. - Wed, 9 Jun 2004 2:24pm
Demen Ted User Info... | Kim Nekroman is a got on earth. HERATIC! - Thu, 10 Jun 2004 11:57am

Zer0 User Info... | Meh, another safe and inoffensive release from Hellcat records. I thought it was kinda cheesy to start with, but the idea of a chick playing double bass and singing appealed to me. Now I wonder why. This album although competentely performed lacks substance and above all good songs. It starts off ok but tanks it very soon after. After a few listens I found it boring. I'm not demanding they re-invent the wheel here, just play some good tunes dammit. Their image is hoplessly cheesy and their tunes are verging on popabilly. As for gutless Hellcat Records bands, I'll stick with Tiger Army, at least they rock out sometimes. Way better examples of the genre can be found in albums by: Necromantix, Batmobile, Krewmen, Mad Sin, Demented are go, Pitmen and of course The Rev. This one's headed for the used bin. - Sun, 27 Jun 2004 9:36pm
Black Kitten User Info... | Hey it's a music snob. I was wondering when one of you would slither out from under a rock. It's a fun record and it ENTERTAINS... you do know that word right. - Tue, 29 Jun 2004 10:08am
Zer0 User Info... | I payed my 15 bucks, I'm entitled to my opinion. If you, my dear kitten, find boring records entertaining, that's your opinion. I find boring records boring. If you didn't want anything but a back slapping love fest for this album, you shoulda said something. The last thing I want to do is get into a flame war with a defensive teeny bopper with bad taste is music. The next time you review an album. Make it a good one. - Tue, 29 Jun 2004 7:16pm
BlackKitten User Info... | I am far from a defensive teeny bopper. I just disagree with what you believe to be boring music. I wasn't trying to start a flame war, I just happen to be loud and opinionated and I happen to be of the opinion that too many people think that ALL music has to have some deeper meaning. It doesn't. - Tue, 29 Jun 2004 7:38pm
