| Brandon User Info... | Now don�t go telling people and ruining my hardnosed metal head reputation, but I am really grooving on this new disc from local ska-funk-punk band One Drop. The seven peice band is just so unforgivingly good at molding catchy, memorable, hook-filled tunes (guess this stuff is hook--filled by nature, come to think of it, but whatever); even when things get a bit too hippy dippy, its still a hell of a lot better than any ear-ripping and taste-offending aural onslaughts you�ll hear at the next protest (hmmm has my cynicism shined throuhg yet>) Throughout the 13 tunes on this 40 minuite disc, One Drop manages to completely entertain, except for the last two songs where things start to drag a bit. | lonemonk User Info... | Its a good disc, I really dig it. Nev did a nice job doing with the recording. Ya'll played proper on it. I particularly like the authentic roots reggae vibe that rears it head throughout. ('Ska' is cool, but nothing beats righteous roots riddims for me) I bought a copy online in order to test the paypal experience. The CD itself is superior and well made. Did you guys do all the package design as well? So glad the 'bus' made it onto the cover. I remember hanging out at the side of your van before the burnside show to soak in the ganja and the tunes coming from within...
