$TIM$ User Info... | I'm kinda biased, cause the bass player used to be in moneyshot, but this album returns me to the days of three chord punk rock of my youth. It hasn't left my playlist for weeks (reminds me of Rancid-Let's Go, an album that I must have listened to thousands of times while delivering pizzas years ago) Most of the tracks remind me of a mix between Dropkick Murphy's Irish drinkin' classics, Misfits (lots of woa-oh's) and Rancid (cathcy f**kin' tunes). The addition of the female backup vocals is great. The anthemic "I see Fire" really exemplifies the Rebel Spell's anarchistic / revolutionary leanings. "I see Through" looks at the wonderfull world the Americans are creating. Good song.. Helonwheels User Info... | I went to their site and then got diverted to the place where you can listen to their tunes. So cool. I really dug what I heard and I'm always super stoked to see a woman drummer. I will for sure be going to one or both of the shows and at that time I will purchase a CD. - Thu, 12 Feb 2004 3:11pm
Helonwheels User Info... | It freakin shreds, can't get it out of the CD player- a must have. - Tue, 24 Feb 2004 9:11pm
anti-blue-up User Info... | Saw them at the Fernwood show over the weekend and they were awesome. The drummer and guitar player kicked ass...they were so totally inspiring i had to play my guitar when I got home (heh, just learned a couple of Murphys songs). You really get so used to seeing only boys up on stage but maybe that's just the metal scene around here. Will for sure buy the CD (no, my broke ass didn't have 3$ at the time) and see them every single time they come to town. Thanks for the link...still choked i didn't win the van tho :( - Wed, 25 Feb 2004 2:20am
