_Griphin_ User Info... | Sick and tired of hearing any new material he's come out with? Time to dig into the archives, and pull out his first independant release (before he got signed to Dre's Aftermath label). This is actually quite a good album, no wonder Dre signed him up. Nothing too controversial here, and some real funky beats. You might be able to find this in the used vinyl or tape section (it was never released onto CD, although you can probably find it on CD-R if you hunt around on the web, or check the newsgroups). Dope trax include: 313, Tonight and Backstabber. Here's a review I found: The track "Infinite" is a stellar example of Eminem's lyrical prowess. As the album's title track, it is also the best cut as Eminem leaves the microphone in shreds. Even in his early days when he bore a more "conventional" flow, his rhyming skills were remarkable. His condensed multi-syllabic rhyme patterns are noticably prevalent here and are only an indication of what was to come. Infamously known as the "uplifting" Eminem LP, Infinite is a stunning example of the immaculate talent of a then struggling underground emcee. Worth hunting down... - Sat, 17 Jan 2004 5:02pm | ||
