| Bong User Info... | Don't feel silly at all my friend.. Last year at Soundgarden we had some 300 people come out and everyone was smokin fatties in the bar, with the permission of the owners! THAT WILL NOT BE HAPPINING AT LOGANS!!! However, down the street and around the corner is the nicest little smoking shelter you'd ever want to have..we will be directing all smokers to that or many other close and handy OUTSIDE and OFF property smoking areas...Chris is a real good guy and we are not about getting Logans in trouble. As far as the coppers go..last year the RCMP and the Vic police attended, undercover, it is expected, and something that we in BONG INC and both compassion clubs live with every day. I totally understand your comment, and by no means would we ask you to expose yourself to any danger, real or imagined, but someone has to stand up and take their shit. That's why we do this event, because the people that work in this club, and to supply the club with medicine, get arrested and thrown in jail for helping the 1,500 sick and dying members of the compassion club. Club members that are suffering from HIV, Hepititus, Cancer, MS, MD, and a hundred other life killing problems! Everytime the cops bust the club those sick people are forced into Centennial square looking to hook up.. We all put our personal freedoms on the line everytime we light up some weed today. But these folks risk the possibility of a record and actual jail time for growing and supplying a plant that we KNOW can help a sick person have a better more functional life. Not even getting into personal use despite that we know this plant to be at the very least as harmful as booze or tobacco, and in point of fact LESS harmful! Many of us have already done time and had our human rights violated by the police and the anti-marijuana industry,(A multi-billion dollar money maker!), so we have nothing to lose, and only freedom to gain.. Sometimes you just have to take a stand, no matter what happens. I hope you can join us , but if not, drop by the club sometime and make a donation, or just hang out and meet some amazing people.. | _Griphin_ User Info... | Well I'm definately gonna make it out to the show, sounds like something interesting, the cool thing is, no arrests, unless someone gets stupid, and smokes down the street, cops are freaked about that, don't blame them really, but I worry more about where it's being held, if the police really wanted to bust them for something and shut them down, this could be a stupid reason to do so. Go figure, huh? BTW: I could care less about undercover, if anything, there looking out for people, nothing more. If there level headed about the space, I doubt they'll do much. You didn't get hassled before, nuff said. BTW: That little place around the corner, I'm sure I've used it a few times, it's really cool. Just don't draw any heat, and it's all fine. The buzz is already huge on this show as CL has been getting calls about advance tix!! Just to repeat NO ADVANCE TIX WILL BE SOLD!!!!! CL has reminded me that his place only holds 150 and will close the door when we get there! So you should get there early to get in @ six bucks it will be a cheep and awesome xmas prezzie to yourself or the ones you love!! | Bong User Info... | Yep Mr Ty that WAS the plan! Problem here was that the Hogz had to bail at the last min,shit happens no biggie, and so we started scrambling to fill the slot. Ted himself was very disaponited because he personally loves the SweatHogz, anyway I asked Rick Hog if The Hosegow would be into subbing. While he was trying to hook that up and get back to me, Ted hooked up Greenlaw Ave.! Time was ticking and the poster and ad for Monday had to be finished last night so they put GL on before I could confirm the Hoosegow! What a fuckin Mess!!! Really nice that so many good musicians are willing to give their time for this cause, it says a lot about the Vic musical community. So, the final lineup for the show will be: DJ Shake Greenlaw Ave The Delegates Zola Bud Kingbong Thanks for being ready to jump in TY/Rick and dudes..As always you are the finest of punk gentlemen, the Hoosegow are on the guest list , and I got a cold beer and a big fatty at the show for all of you!
