| BrandXMedia User Info... | Lately I've been sort of toying around with the idea of putting on some sort of D.I.Y. (do it yorself) Media shindig. Kind of a small information seminar/convention, where a lineup of speakers give advice and basic information on publishing your own media. Have one person do a bit on zine publishing, have another one do a bit on making your own movies, maybe have one for people who want to learn how to publish and distribute their music for cheap, publishing for the web, and so on. Though to my knowledge there's never been one of these in Victoria and I know that they're pretty frequent in other (larger) citys, I'm just curious as to a metephorical show of hands as to if anybody would be interested in attending or contributing something to this.
