| Beer Geek | A hophead is someone who likes very hoppy beers, such as IPAs. These beers are often very bitter, and have strong hop aroma and flavour; hence the name, hophead. Hops are related to weed though, and I have heard of people grafting pot to hop plants. Anyone know why? Try Storm, Tree (called Hophead BTW) and Nelson Brewing's IPA for awesome examples. | Troutbreath | and I have heard of people grafting pot to hop plants. Anyone know why? It's the other way round. Hop plants can be grafted onto a canabis root stock. The resulting hops will have a THC content and they can be used to make Beer. The alchohol in the beer suspends the THC and you get a nice flavoured beer with a little extra buzzzzzz. I know a feller on Cortes who makes his beer this way. You can have the hops growing all over your doorstep without anyone knowing what's really going on. - Tue, 10 Jun 2003 11:09am | ||

| Troutbreath | Dear thunderous, if THC is only produced in the bud and does not flow through the rest of the plant, how do you explain the THC which is found in the leaves further down the stem? It's true a plant has no circulating pump like our heart. Water enters the roots and flows upward by capillary action. It expirates through the leaves.
