benthic sound | Anyone interested doing any recording consider this as an option. I am running a digital audio workstation that can handle unlimited tracks (within reason), have top of the line recording and editing software, MIDI sequencing capability, drum programming. This could be a great little studio to start testing out ideas, work on arrangements, overdubbing, or be as creative as you like. The only limitation I currently have is that I am only able to handle a limited number of simultaneous inputs to software. At this point in time, solo artists/duos would benefit the most from my setup, as I cannot deal with a full band at once (unless you are happy with tracking 1 or 2 instruments at a time). My rates are very flexible and will be very competitive (read affordable). From basic scratch demos to as far as you want to take it. I am just getting started, and will be upgrading gear regularly. Available evenings and weekends. Call 920-4804, email, or leave a message here. - Thu, 22 May 2003 6:21pm

benthic sound | Not my apartment, but in my house.... no relation to Bent Sound.... I won't pretend to be the greatest producer under the sun, but I have spent many years working on various platforms from 4-track tape to stand-alone digital recorders to my current setup of Sonar/Reason/Waves Mastering Plugins. I don't have the best outboard gear out there, but the software end is extremely well covered, and I can rent anything that is necessary for a project if need be (specific mics, compressors, preamps etc), and I am willing to invest a great deal of my own time to make something sound the best it can be. I am trying to build up my resume and to record a variety of styles and will be upgrading my gear as often as I can afford to. This is intended to be a win-win situation. If you have been sitting there wishing you could get a quality demo done but have pulled your hair out wondering how you can afford to do it, I can help make it happen. I have been wondering how I can get myself into the production field, and have decided the best way is to simply just get started. - Fri, 23 May 2003 11:48am

benthic sound | New gear on its way, and more about to be ordered. By July/August I will have scaled up to be able to do alot better than a couple of simultaneous inputs (will have 8-in capacity, plus two more digital inputs)....note this doesn't mean it is only 8-track. Doing overdubs there is unlimited tracking capability. Give me a buzz or email, and come check out what I have done so far, and we can discuss whether or not I can handle your recording needs. Rates are totally flexible, I am just looking for material. Punk and Metal aren't my forte however, so I don't think I will suit you if that is your style. Folky, poppy, rock, electronic....eclectic... - Thu, 29 May 2003 12:52pm
ticklefish User Info... | okay, didn't get the 8-in/out system, but can handle 4-in/out, have new mics and a bigger space. - Wed, 6 Aug 2003 1:06pm
