| Ty Stranglehold User Info... | Whoa, a little out of my own element here. Truth is I went down to Lucky to see my Cuz play in Amps To 11. Here's the rundown: I really didn't like 3 Night Stand. I found it a little... uhhh... Good musicians mind you, but sure not my thing. The Stone Temple Pilots cover and dancing geeks in monkey suits didn't help the cause either. I really thought that I wasn't gonna like Amps To 11 either. There is nothing worse than telling a friend or reletive that their band reeks. Thankfully I didn't have to. Once again it wasn't the style that I would normally listen to, but I was bobbin' my head to it. I would peg them as a combo of Seaweed with a little Black Halos thrown in. Pretty cool tunes with some funny lyrics. Criticsism: Lose the wacky harmonica song and the sit down acoustic number. It drags the set down. Both bands: You don't have to tell the crowd who you are after every song. The beginning and end of your set should be fine. - Tue, 21 Jan 2003 3:03am | ||

| Justin again...sorry | hey i didn't get a chance to say i enjoyed amps to eleven's set too. but Ty, the acoustic song was very good... it was a good change of tempo. not everything always need to grab you by your nut sack and say hey... there's other ways. I know its everyone's own opinion in this section, i was in a bad mood that day(various shit that don't matter to me anymore). I shouldn't have gotten so defensive in the matter. | Snaker User Info... | WOW..... lots of arguing. I am the drummer in AMPS TO ElEVEN and I just gotta say that was a fucking awesome gig!!!! 3 night stand, did I great job ( I asked them to play the gig, because I think they rip), they are wicked musicians (especially considering I think they have only been together for like 2 months or something). So thanks to them. Ty, I think honest opinions need to be expressed in here and that's what you did so codos. Glad to hear that you did't have to tell drew he sucked (he is such a frail young man.... he's going to kill me.) I think a dynamic set is good and the acoustic song might be or best track so thanks Justin for appreciating that. I do love to see some heads butt in this section, and honest is always the best policy.
