Codine Vandal User Info... | Sons of Nova is playing the V Lounge again next month, Nov. 25th , and we need your help. We want anyone who is so under dressed it's scary. if you have piercings in your face, tattoos everywhere and wear clothes you've had on since 9/11 , we want you. our goal is to fill the v lounge with as many "undesirables" as possible. we don't appreciate our fans getting kicked out of our shows before they even finish because they choose to live an alternative lifestyle. If you agree, come out and show some support. the show is also going to be a CHARITY event for CHRISTMAS DADDIES put on by MASTER JODA as part of his ROCKFEST CHARITY SHOWS. So come out, support the CHRISTMAS DADDIES and support alternative living and being able to wear whatever the fuck you want and not being ridiculed or excluded. - Mon, 18 Oct 2010 8:53am

DTjackson User Info... | Did that actually happen? I know people got kicked out of the V-lounge for smashing glass. Not sure it had anything to do with their look. If it did, then I don't know what they expect if they want to hold hard rock, punk and metal shows. Good luck trying to get people in dressed in Armani suits. - Mon, 18 Oct 2010 3:16pm
Master Joda User Info... | Issue has been dealt with and the Owner Wally is taking care of it and it will not happen again. As far as breaking glass or smoking a joint or fighting or being a total douche then you will get kicked out. I almost kicked someone out myself when he low bridged a guy at his legs in the pit. I grabbed him and told him if he ever did that in a mosh pit again don't bother coming to my shows and have some respect in the pit....but Wally was totally professional and loves the shows I have brought and looks forward to many more with the great bands that I have had there! Oh ya bands get a green room as well - Mon, 18 Oct 2010 8:05pm
Mr. Hell User Info... | So the bouncers literally asked people who weren't fitting with the hip-hop/Top 40 crowd to leave during the Sons Of Aldo Nova set? We have never had that happen at our shows before. Did Willy have an explanation for that? - Mon, 18 Oct 2010 8:21pm
DTjackson User Info... | The show was supposed to end at 12:30, it went a bit over. Sons of Nova weren't headlining. They played second. Lust Boys headlined, so I guess people were asked to leave during their set, but if you ask me, to try and end a show on a friday night at 12:30 so you can capitalize on the hoochies is a bit odd considering the place was packed with degenerates. Paying degenerates! - Mon, 18 Oct 2010 9:18pm
Codine Vandal User Info... | Well like joe said, it's been dealt with. it was some of my friends who were asked to leave but i'm confident that won't happen again or at least not for the same reason. Long story short is the people shouldn't have been asked to leave and won't be again. And now bands get a green room. - Tue, 19 Oct 2010 12:52am Edited: Tue, 19 Oct 2010 12:55am
Master Joda User Info... | Yep and Wally was super happy with the turn out and not happy how the bands were treated the one bouncer almost didn't let Benny back in the bar when he went to get some gear....Just if your band is having an issue or something is going on get someone to grab me...my wife or Wally asap and it will be handled....I love that venue...the stage rocks...the sound rocks...$5 hiballs I mean it is an awesome place for a Friday night show!!! - Tue, 19 Oct 2010 6:14am
Mr. Hell User Info... | It's just very odd because the staff have been excellent over the past year at that place. Must have been a new guy or something. - Tue, 19 Oct 2010 12:13pm
Codine Vandal User Info... | might have been, i don't ever go to the v lounge, not my type of watering hole. But i'm sure that the persons involved know who they are and what was wrong about what they did. They were using the excuse that they were trying to maintain their authority to me. i think they just went about it in the wrong way. I got kicked out myself for smoking weed in the smoking area but that's a whole nother issue. I WAS IN THE WRONG there. If anyone breaks the LAW or the CLUB RULES nothing can be done. So for anyone thinking of coming to the Vlounge just follow the rules and have a good time and no one will say shit to you. I think something that could help the logistics of the shows is if everyone makes sure to be there when joe says. people kept showing up at any time the other night(bands i mean),if every band could show up at the same time and be introduced to the doormen of the night they might recognize people and we could avoid this issue - Tue, 19 Oct 2010 2:05pm Edited: Tue, 19 Oct 2010 2:08pm
Master Joda User Info... | I love that idea Cody....thanks for the suggestion - Tue, 19 Oct 2010 4:29pm
