Some of the bands include: FISHBONE - 25th Anniversary THE AGGROLITES (LA - Hellcat Recording Artists) KATCHAFIRE (Hamilton, New Zealand - all Maori reggae big band) THE BLACK SEEDS (Wellington, New Zealand) - Wicked Easy Star Records Kiwi reggae band. Oh and it is Bret McKenzie's old band from Flight of the Conchords CHERRY POPPIN' DADDIES (Eugene, Oregon) THE SHANE PHILIP TREE (w/Marc Atkinson & Joby Baker) SKAMPIDA (Bogota, Colombia) LOS KUNG FU MONKEYS (Tijuana, Mexico) EASY BIG FELLA (Seattle old school ska) - Reunion show!! | VICTORIA BC SKA SOCIETY User Info... | Quick reminder: There are three workshops on the festival (one of which is by Brian Dixon of the Aggrolites called "Jamaican Rhythm Patterns of the 60s" His workshop is on Friday, July 9th @ Long & McQuade Music Education Centre 1-2pm Remember there is also an art exhibit called "Sights and Stories of Ska Fest" that is on Wednesday,July 7th @ Victoria Event Centre One Shot Left has been added to the Aggro Afterparty at Lucky Bar with Los Kung Fu Monkeys & The Resignators. Oye! will not be on the Reggae Afterparty. Instead we'll have a super hype reggae/dancehall/dub step party with Big Reds, DJ Collage & DJ Anger.
